Dr. Arteaga's commitment to excellence is evident through various honors and awards, including her appointment as Administrative Chief Resident at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Ophthalmology department.

Michael S. Korey, M.D. attended the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign from which he graduated with Phi Beta Kappa distinction, receiving Bachelor of Science degree.

Dr. Lewicky is an acknowledged expert and innovator in the field of surgery of the anterior segment of the eye. He has authored numerous articles and book chapters in the medical literature.

Francisco Marruenda, M.D. received his M.D. degree from the Medical School of the University of Granada in his native homeland of Spain. Subsequently, Dr. Marruenda entered a clinical fellowship in ophthalmology at Chicago’s Cook County Hospital.

Harold Sy, M.D. has been a practicing physician with the Chicago Eye Intitute for over 15 years. Dr. Sy completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.
