Priyanka Patel, O.D.

Dr. Priyanka Patel is a board-certified optometrist at Chicago Arbor Eye Institute. Originally from Florida, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Florida, a Master of Science in Medical Science from the University of South Florida, and a Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry.

Dr. Patel’s clinical experience includes externships at prestigious institutions such as Edward Hines VA Hospital, Loyola University Medical Center, and Illinois Eye Institute, as well as training at Lake Baldwin VA Clinic and Miami Gardens Eye Care. During these externships, she honed her skills in comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fitting, disease management, and patient education. Prior to becoming a full-time optometrist, Dr. Patel gained valuable hands-on experience as a student optician and ophthalmic technician at Illinois Eye Institute, further enhancing her clinical expertise. Dr. Patel is fluent in English and Gujarati, and conversational in Hindi. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, walks along the lakefront, photography, and traveling.
